Like all other medicines, Zineryt also has some side effects. Zineryt may rarely cause allergic reactions. Some symptoms include:

- Swelling of the mouth, lips, face and tongue
- Difficulty in breathing
If you get a very painful rash or burning feeling after using Zineryt which does not go away in few hours or gets worse each time you use it, stop using the medicine immediately and inform your doctor.
Zineryt must be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. This is only for cutaneous use. Wash the affected area before using it. Unscrew the cap and hold the lotion container upside down. Spread the lotion on the affected and surrounding areas. Usually, Zineryt should be applied all over the affected area and the surrounding skin twice daily. Successful treatment of acne may take several weeks or even months. The normal treatment time is 10 to 12 weeks. Consult your doctor in case the infection is still persistent even after the end of the course. In case, you have applied too much of Zineryt than you should blot it off with some tissue. Swallowing the entire contents of a single pack by mistake would mainly lead to symptoms associated with alcohol intake. You must contact your doctor immediately. In case, you forget to use Zineryt, apply it immediately as soon as you remember, but leave about three hours before you use it again. If you stop using Zineryt, the symptoms might come back.
