Hi Guest

Flu Treatment

Flu or Influenza is caused by a viral infection which usually affects the lungs and its airway. Flu is generally spread by sneezing and coughing and the symptoms appear very quickly. In the UK flu is very common in winter and peaks between January and March.

One can have flu all round the year but is common in winter and that’s why it is referred to as seasonal flu. Though the symptoms are similar to those of a cold but flu is very different as compared to common cold as it occurs due to different set of viruses.

For patients suffering with Flu with every season change, we at The Online Surgery, prescribe Tamiflu. Tamiflu can be used for both the treatment and prevention of flu. Tamiflu can be used safely in new born, infants, children and adults.
