Intal CFC-free inhaler contains an active ingredient called sodium cromoglicate, which is anti-allergic in nature. It creates an effect in the air passages of your lungs. In addition, it lowers the body’s response when exposed to substances that you are allergic to. A lowered response means that the medication will not let you get affected by the allergens. This, in turn, helps prevent an asthma attack, which is characterized by difficulty in breathing, wheezing, sweating, coughing and other kinds of discomforting symptoms. During an asthma attack, the body responds adversely to the allergens and there is a commotion in the lungs and the respiratory tract. The inhaler lowers your response to allergens and thus, helps prevent the attack. Intal CFC-free inhaler is ideal for use in children and adults, but children must be supervised by elders while using the inhaler. Intal must be stored properly. It should never be exposed to sunlight or freezing temperatures. Keep the medicine out of sight and reach of children. Consult the GP immediately in case of accidental swallowing or in case you inhale an extra amount by mistake. Ensure to check the expiry date on the carton. Dispose the medicine safely after the date of expiry.
