Being a corticosteroid, Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler reduces any kind of inflammation, swelling and irritation in the respiratory airways. However, if you are allergic to beclometasone dipropionate or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine, you are advised to stop its use immediately and consult the GP. Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler is not meant to help in case of a sudden attack of asthma. In such situation, you must use a quick-acting “reliever” inhaler, rather than a “preventer.” Therefore, it is recommended that you consult your GP before you start taking this medicine. If you have a previous record of tuberculosis, or if you are an alcoholic you should consult your GP before using Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler. Do not stop the treatment with your inhaler unless the GP asks you to do so. Women who are breastfeeding, pregnant or planning to get pregnant soon should inform their GP about their state before they start using the inhaler. Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler contains a little amount of alcohol, therefore, such women are advised not to take the medication without consulting the GP.

Those who suffer from mild to moderate asthma and have been prescribed 100 micrograms Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler, must take two puffs twice a day. For severe asthma, patients should take a total of eight puffs twice a day. Your GP may prescribe Qvar Easi-Breathe Inhaler to replace the steroid tablets that you take. That means, you will have to take both the medications for some time. In such cases, strictly follow what your GP advises. In case your asthma gets worse, or if you start to experience any allergies because of reduce steroid tablets usage, consult the GP immediately. Talk to your doctor in case you feel unwell while transferring from steroid tablets to inhaler. However, do not stop taking the inhaler under any circumstances, unless your doctor asks you to do so.
